Public sector projects are larger projects which can include collaboration with other architectural firms and working for Schools, Universities, State and Local Governments in creating high performing facilities, better community, and environmentally sound spaces.

Main Hall

Location: Virginia School for the Deaf and the Blind, Staunton, VA
Original Date of Construction: 1845
Building Use: Administration Building
Highlight: Listed on National Register of Historic Places and Virginia Landmarks Register in 1969
Collaboration with Preservation Design Partnership (PDP) of Philadelphia, who served as executive architect on this project.
Client: The Commonwealth of Virginia and The Virginia School for the Deaf and the Blind (VSDB)

Garrett Hall

Location: University of Virginia, Charlottesville, VA
Original Date of Construction: 1908
Building Use: Home of the Frank Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy
Highlight: LEED Gold Project
Collaboration with Architectural Resources Group (ARG) who served as executive architect on this project.
Client: The Commonwealth of Virginia and The University of Virginia

Original Date of Construction: Early 1800s
Highlight: Last remaining original structure on park site

Miller's House Museum (after)

Building Use: Museum dedicated to interpreting the industrial & transportation history of the Lexington area

Staunton New Street Parking Deck

Location: City of Staunton, VA
Original Date of Construction: New construction, 2002
Building Use: Public parking deck with ground level tourism center and retail spaces
Highlight: National Palladio award winner in 2002 for new design and construction
Highlight: All Star Public Improvement Award, Staunton Downtown Development Association
