Note: After 20+ years, Fairfax Hall was due for re-do. Current renovation includes handicap upgrades, kitchen upgrades, new apartments and building preservation.
Barrister's Row
Location: Staunton, VA
Original Date of Construction: ca. 1850
Building Use: Originally built as lawyer offices and continually used a law offices until recently. It is now being renovated into adaptive re-use as apartments.

I've really enjoyed working on this project. Note the log floor joists in photo. You'll only see that in very old buildings.
Warehouse District
Location: Lewis Street in Staunton, VA
Note: I'm so pleased with the revitalization of Lewis Street by Warehouse District LLC. The warehouses are receiving new treatment and adaptive re-use as theatres, community spaces, and restaurants. Currently working on an old warehouse project with an interesting monitor (see photo).
Funk and Son's Store
Location: Singer's Glen, VA
Note: Really looking forward to this project. Singer's Glen is known as the "birthplace of Sacred Music in the South". My client has great plans for the adaptive re-use of this historic structure.
110 South Lewis Street
Location: Lewis Street in Staunton, VA
Note: More revitalization on Lewis Street. There are so many interesting details on this old warehouse, including the prasmatic transoms. Can't wait to get going on this project.
